Facebook, YouTube and any other platforms are not associated with our give aways and do not serve as a point of contact for them.
Natural persons who are resident in Europe, North America or the UK and have reached the age of 14 are eligible to participate. Participation is not restricted to customers of the organizer and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services.
If a participant has limited legal capacity, the consent of their legal representative is required.
All persons involved in the design and implementation of the give away and employees of Gate to the Games GmbH (hereinafter referred to as the organizer) and their family members are not eligible to take part in the give away. In addition, the operator reserves the right to exclude persons from participation at its own discretion if there are justified reasons, for example
(a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or execution of the give away, (b) in the event of breaches of these conditions of participation, (c) in the event of unfair conduct or (d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the give away.
The start and end time of the give away can be found in the give away entries.
The prize will be awarded to the winners as advertised in the give away. There are no additional costs associated with the give away, we will send the prizes at our own expense. If there are several correct entries, the winner will be drawn by lot, excluding legal recourse. A change or cash payment of the prize is excluded.
Winners will be drawn by random number generator no later than 7 days after the end of the give away. There is no legal recourse.
We will contact winners, either as a direct response to a comment, by email or via our Facebook page (depending on where the give away took place). If a winner has only liked a post on Facebook, no contact is possible (company pages cannot write to private profiles without prior contact), so the winner must contact us. They must then provide us with their own address so that we can send the prizes. If the person who has won does not contact us within 14 days, the prize will be forfeited without replacement.
The organizer guarantees the highest possible standard of data protection in the context of the give away and observes all relevant legal provisions in this regard. The data will not be stored and will not be used for internal purposes.
Should individual provisions of these conditions of participation be invalid or should there be a loophole, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid or missing provisions shall be replaced by a provision that comes closest to the purpose of the contract and the statutory provisions.
In the event of disputes, German law shall apply exclusively. To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction shall be the registered office of the organizers. If the participating person does not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany or moves his/her place of residence abroad after participation, the place of jurisdiction shall also be the registered office of the organizers.
Claims for damages against the organizer in connection with the give away are excluded – to the extent permitted by law – regardless of the legal grounds, unless the organizer has intentionally or grossly negligently violated legal obligations. Furthermore, the organizer is not liable for damages resulting from the impairment of the availability of the give away website in the event of technical disruptions and force majeure events beyond its control, as well as attacks by third parties against the give away website. However, the organizer will make every effort to ensure the reliability and functionality of the give away website. Furthermore, the organizer does not guarantee that the give away website will function properly on the respective participant’s computer.
