Two or more players place creatures and places on the battlefield until all spaces are occupied. Creatures tame other creatures adjacent to them. Places, spells and active and passive tamer effects influence the game.
Whoever tames the most creatures at the end wins.
Decks consist of 30 cards and a Tamer card, which determines the faction (the “colour”) of the deck. Only cards from the chosen faction and neutral cards may be added to the deck.

Five factions with unique effects!
The Tamer determines the faction of your deck and therefore the methods and cards you can use to achieve victory. Each Tamer has a unique passive and active effect that can be combined with other card effects to create powerful combinations.
Creatures form the core of a deck and represent the players on the battlefield. They have 4 attack stats and fight each other when they enter the battlefield. In addition, some creatures have special effects that can give you the advantage you need to win the game.
Similar to creatures, places are also played on the battlefield. They are used as a form of security to conceal weak points or block the opponent’s moves. Places have no attack values, but can be equipped with powerful effects just like creatures.
You can unleash powerful combos with spells. Spells have an immediate effect, but only on your own turn. If you use your spells tactically, you can turn the entire battlefield in your favour in one turn.
The Neverrift board game will include five starter decks, one for each faction. The decks are balanced against each other, so that up to five players can start playing immediately.
Additional neutral cards allow experienced players to modify their decks.
